One ear. Many possibilities.
Lobe, helix, tragus, conch, rook, daith, or industrial. Each area has different anatomy and requires suitable jewellery.
Lobe.
The most well-known ear piercing. Can be worn with small earrings, hoops, or decorative jewellery after healing.
Helix.
Positioned on the upper edge of the ear. Can be worn with a short post or, after healing, with a suitable hoop.
Industrial.
Two piercings connected by a single bar. Suitable anatomy and very precise positioning are required.
Tragus.
Made in the small cartilage area in front of the ear canal. Size varies from person to person.
Conch.
Positioned in the central part of the ear cartilage. After healing, can be worn with a post or hoop.
Rook.
Made in the cartilage fold in the upper-inner part of the ear and requires anatomy evaluation.
Details make the difference.
Not every positioning suits every ear. Anatomy evaluation is essential before the procedure.
Daith.
Positioned in an inner fold of the ear and worn with small-sized jewellery.
Anti-tragus.
It is made in a small cartilage area, and eligibility depends on anatomy.
Snug.
It is positioned transversely through the inner fold of the ear and requires well-defined anatomy.
Flat.
It is made in the flat area of the upper cartilage and allows decorative jewellery after healing.
Precise positioning.
Each piercing is tailored to the ear's anatomy and the chosen type of jewellery, for a balanced result and optimal healing.

Ear piercing performed according to anatomy.
Ear piercing is one of the most versatile forms of body modification. It can be discreet, with a single lobe piercing, or part of a more complex composition.
The shape of the ear, cartilage thickness, distance between folds, and available space influence the positioning and type of jewellery.
Lobe piercing
The lobe is the best-known area for an ear piercing. The tissue is softer than cartilage, and healing is generally faster.
Positioning is determined before the procedure so that the jewellery is balanced and allows for adding other piercings in the future.
Cartilage piercing
Helix, tragus, rook, daith, conch, snug, or industrial piercings are made in cartilage and require longer healing.
Sleeping directly on the ear, using headphones that press the area, and premature jewellery changes must be avoided.
Initial jewellery
The jewellery must allow for normal inflammation in the first days. A bar that is too short can exert pressure and delay healing.
After the area stabilises, the jewellery can be changed to a shorter or decorative model.
Simple care. Consistent.
Healing also depends on how the area is cared for after the procedure.
What you should do.
- Clean the area twice a day with sterile saline solution.
- Wash your hands before touching the piercing.
- Dry the area by gentle dabbing.
- Respect the recommended period before changing the jewellery.
- Contact the salon if unusual changes appear.
What you should avoid.
- Do not rotate or forcibly move the jewellery.
- Do not use alcohol, spirits, or hydrogen peroxide.
- Do not sleep directly on the freshly pierced ear.
- Avoid swimming pools, saunas, and jacuzzis.
- Don't change the jewellery too early.
