From what age can you get a tattoo without parental consent?

In Romania, you can get an artistic or cosmetic tattoo only after reaching the age of 18 years. Parental consent does not allow getting a tattoo at 16 or 17 years old. Before the procedure, the studio may request a valid identity document to verify age.

What Article 15 stipulates.

(1) It is prohibited to perform body piercing and dermal implant procedures on persons under 16 years old, except for ear piercing, for which parental or guardian consent is required.

(2) It is prohibited to perform cosmetic and artistic tattooing on persons under 18 years old.

(3) It is prohibited to perform genital piercing on persons under 18 years old.
