Sizes vary depending on area and anatomy. Generally, bar thickness is between 1 mm and 1.6 mm, and length or diameter is chosen to allow initial swelling without excessive pressure. Values are indicative and must be confirmed by the piercer.

Choosing the right size in Bucharest.
At 2nd Face Tattoo & Body Piercing, in the COCOR Store, near Unirii Square, jewellery size is chosen according to anatomy, area and space needed for healing.
The studio is located at B-dul I.C. Brătianu 29–33, basement, Sector 3, Bucharest.
Important: do not change the jewellery yourself during the healing period.
A jewellery piece that is too short can compress tissue, while one that is too long can catch or cause irritation. For changing, checking or shortening the bar after inflammation reduces, schedule an evaluation in the studio.
Frequently asked questions.
Are sizes the same for everyone?
No. Values are indicative, and the final size is determined by anatomy and pierced area.
Why use a longer bar at first?
To allow normal swelling in the first days and to avoid pressure on the tissue.
When can the bar be shortened?
After inflammation reduces and only following a check by the piercer.
Can I buy jewellery myself using the sizes from the table?
An evaluation is recommended beforehand, as anatomical differences may require a different length or diameter.
What material is used for medical jewellery?
The original page indicates stainless steel, also called surgical metal, for the jewellery shown.
