What is an Industrial Piercing?
An Industrial Piercing consists of two piercings made in the upper cartilage of the ear and connected by a single long barbell. The procedure requires suitable anatomy, correct alignment of the two points and avoiding pressure during the healing period.

After healing, the jewellery can be changed to a coloured, decorative or custom model.
Healing of the Industrial piercing
The external appearance may calm in the first weeks, but complete healing can take between 6 and 12 months.
Because there are two connected piercings, it is essential to avoid pressure, sleeping on that side and premature jewellery changes.

An appointment is required for piercing, made up to two days in advance.

Both piercings must be cared for with the same attention throughout the healing period.
What you should do.
- Gently clean both piercings with sterile saline solution, according to the piercer's recommendation.
- Wash your hands before touching the area.
- Dry by gentle patting, without rubbing.
- Check that there is no excessive pressure between the two points.
- Contact the studio for persistent irritation; for fever, increasing pain, or purulent discharge, seek medical evaluation.
What you should avoid.
- Do not rotate or forcibly move the barbell.
- Do not use alcohol, spirits, or hydrogen peroxide.
- Do not sleep on the side with the piercing.
- Avoid headphones, hats and objects that press on the ear.
- Don't change the jewellery too early.

The area may stabilise initially in the first weeks, but complete healing can take between 6 and 12 months.
Does every ear allow an Industrial Piercing?
No. The procedure depends on ear anatomy and the possibility of correctly aligning the two piercings.
Is it painful?
Two piercings are made, so discomfort may be more intense than with a single piercing.
Can I change the jewellery before healing?
Premature changing is not recommended as it can alter angles and irritate both channels.
