Tattoo techniques.
Temporary or permanent.
Airbrush, adhesive tattoo, henna, tattoo pen, permanent tattoo and UV tattoos.
What is the main difference?
Temporary techniques colour or transfer the image onto the skin's surface and fade over time. Permanent tattooing introduces pigment into the skin and is designed to last long-term.
Duration completely changes the choice.
Before choosing the technique, decide if you want a design for a few hours, a few days, a few weeks, or long-term.
What should be compared.

The technique must be chosen according to the purpose.
A temporary design is suitable for testing an idea, an event, or a short-term visual effect.
For a permanent tattoo, the design, artist, size and body area must be analysed beforehand.
Airbrush or Airbrush Tattoo.
The airbrush uses special body paint, applied to the skin's surface with an airbrush and a stencil. It is a temporary technique, popular for events, body painting and quick design testing.
Durability depends on skin type, sebum, sweat and care. Usually it can last about 2–5 days, sometimes up to a week.
Airbrush Care
- Apply setting powder before and after showering.
- Do not rub the area with a towel.
- Avoid sauna and activities that cause intense sweating.
- Do not apply alcohol, oil or soap directly on the design.
Adhesive tattoo.
Adhesive sheets transfer a design onto the skin and are used for events, children, athletes or people who want to wear a design only for a short period.
The area must be cleaned beforehand, and the sheet applied according to product instructions. Most designs can be removed with water and soap.
Henna tattoo.
Henna is applied as a paste on the skin and produces a reddish-brown colour. The paste is left to dry and must be protected from moisture in the first hours.
The result can remain visible from a few days to several weeks, depending on the product, area and care.
Permanent tattoo.
Permanent tattooing is done by controlled introduction of pigment into the skin using needles and a tattoo machine.
It is a long-term choice and requires careful analysis of the design, size, placement and artist.
Tattoo Maker or Tattoo Pen.
Tattoo pens allow temporary drawing directly on the skin. They are available in several colours and can create water-resistant designs lasting a few days.
The stencil is positioned on the skin, the design is drawn, and the colour is left to set before touching.
UV or Blacklight tattoos.
UV tattoos use pigments that become visible or more intensely visible under ultraviolet light. Some formulas can also be seen under normal light.
These are permanent tattoos and must be evaluated with the same care as any other tattoo, including pigment, healing and the artist's portfolio.

Depending on skin, sebum, sweat and care, it can last about 2–5 days, sometimes up to a week.
How long does a henna tattoo last?
Henna can remain visible from a few days to several weeks, depending on product, area and care.

UV pigment is designed to become visible under ultraviolet light. Some formulas can also be seen under normal light, and the tattooed area remains permanently altered.
