Nipple piercing.
Symmetry. Style. Discretion.
Nipple piercing for women and men, performed after anatomy evaluation, with medical steel jewellery and clear care instructions.
What is a nipple piercing?
Nipple piercing, also called mamelon or nipple piercing, is usually done horizontally through the base of the nipple. The procedure can be done for women and men, but only after anatomy evaluation and only for persons aged 18 or over.
150 RONmedical steel jewellery and labour included
The procedure is performed with sterile instruments and individual consumables. Positioning is checked before piercing.
Positioning adapted to anatomy.
Before the procedure, the shape of the nipple, tissue thickness, and suitable direction for the barbell are checked.
In the case of bilateral procedures, markings are analysed for the most visually balanced positioning.
Usually horizontal.
The direction is chosen based on anatomy and the desired aesthetic result.
Straight barbell.
For the initial procedure, a straight bar is usually used, sized for initial swelling.
Marking checked.
For both breasts, markings are compared before the procedure.
Lengthy process.
Complete healing can take approximately 6–12 months and requires consistent care.
Variable result.
Sensitivity may increase, decrease, or remain unchanged; the effect cannot be guaranteed.
Careful protection.
Tight clothing, catching, and repeated pressure can irritate the area.
How nipple piercing is performed.
The area is cleaned and disinfected, then the position is established. For bilateral piercings, markings are compared before the procedure.
Piercing is done with a sterile needle, and the initial jewellery is inserted immediately after the needle passes. The standard procedure uses medical steel jewellery.
Healing of nipple piercing
Complete healing is indicative and can take approximately 6–12 months. Even if the exterior seems stable earlier, the inner channel may continue to heal.
Friction, pressure, catching, premature jewellery change, and incorrect care can prolong the process.
Migration and rejection
If the jewellery becomes increasingly visible through the skin, the position changes, or the tissue thins, the piercing should be evaluated. You can also consult the guide about situations when a piercing should be re-evaluated.
Choosing jewellery
The shape and size of the jewellery influence comfort and healing. See also the guide about piercing jewellery, introduced here as an additional relevant resource.
