Frequently asked questions.
What thickness should the first nipple or genital piercing have?
The size for nipple or intimate piercing is determined according to anatomy and type of procedure. There is no single size suitable for all individuals.
Can I wear thicker jewellery later?
Yes. Most piercing channels can be safely stretched progressively after the initial recovery period has successfully ended.
Which materials are safest for a new piercing?
Titanium for implants, niobium and certain types of compatible steel can be used, depending on product, traceability and piercer's recommendation.
Can wooden or bone jewellery be used for a fresh piercing?
No. Porous organic materials such as wood, stone or bone are recommended exclusively for fully healed and consolidated piercings.
