From what age can you get a piercing without parental consent?

In Romania, most body piercing procedures can be performed from 16 years old, with identity verification. Under 16 years, the legal exception is ear piercing, with parental or guardian consent. Tattoos and genital piercings are allowed only after reaching the age of 18 years.

What Article 15 stipulates.

(1) It is prohibited to perform body piercing and dermal implant procedures on persons under 16 years old, except for ear piercing, for which parental or guardian consent is required.

(2) It is prohibited to perform cosmetic and artistic tattooing on persons under 18 years old.

(3) It is prohibited to perform genital piercing on persons under 18 years old.

Upon reaching the age of 16, you can request most body piercing procedures without parental consent.

You must present a valid identity document for age verification.

For intimate procedures and tattoos, being 18 years old is mandatory.
