Positioning adapted to anatomy, suitable jewellery and clear recommendations for healing.
What is a nose piercing?
A nose piercing is a perforation made in the nostril, septum or nasal bridge, followed by the fitting of suitable jewellery. The most well-known types are Nostril, Septum and Bridge.

A discreet detail or a visible accent.
A nose piercing can be subtle or can become a central element of your personal style.
For a new piercing, it is recommended to use jewellery that allows space for initial swelling and limits unnecessary pressure.
The final shape of the jewellery can be changed after the channel has stabilised, not immediately after the procedure.

Frequently asked questions.
How long does it take for a nose piercing to heal?
Healing varies depending on positioning, anatomy and care. As a guideline, the nostril may require approximately 4–6 months, the septum 2–4 months, and the bridge 3–6 months or more.
Can a ring be placed directly in the nostril?
In some cases it is possible, but for initial healing the piercer may recommend a labret or jewellery that reduces movement and pressure.
Should the jewellery be rotated during cleaning?
No. Repeated rotation or movement can irritate the channel and delay healing.
What product is used for cleaning?
Usually a sterile saline solution is used and the protocol indicated by the piercer is followed. Aggressive products are not routinely used.
When can I change the jewellery?
Jewellery should only be changed once the area is stable and ideally after evaluation by the piercer.
When should medical help be sought?
Seek medical evaluation if pain, redness or swelling worsen, or if fever or purulent discharge appears.
